Now that we have the footage ready to edit, we want to brainstorm the things we want to create within the video.

There are several things we can ideate:

Set Productivity Blocks:

To speed up our workflow and be as efficient as possible, it’s important to set blocks of work for specific purposes:

  1. First, you prepare everything: you can prepare several videos at once.
  2. Second, you review the video and take time to ideate what you want to do.
    1. Draw on your tablet or notebook a rough idea of how the edit will look like.
  3. Then, once you have a clear idea of what you want the video to look like, you can finally start editing it.
    1. Define all the assets (text, backgrounds, icons, images, brolls) that you will use on the animations.
    2. Once the draft is ready, we will just need to animate & add effects to everything.

When we start editing a video, it is crucial to maintain the content style when we add things to the video.

NOTE: Don’t overthink it, we are just creating the very first draft of the video.
